var intro         = 'Air Friday<br><br>This bike was purchased used from Bike Friday in 1999.  It belonged to one of the salesmen and had been used as a demo.  Since then it\'s been used on and off as my main bike, and has traveled to Florida and California about 8 times.<br><br>Very little has changed on this bike since I owned it.  The drive system is 18 speed Ultegra.  The brakes are Ultegra, the hubs are Dura Ace.  The chain and rear cassette have been changed out a few times and are fresh. The brake and shifter cables have also been changed more than a few times, a typical thing to do on a Bike Friday.  The brakes and deraillers show some scuffing but function like new.  <br><br>The frame has one scrap and a minor dent, compliments of airline security.  They opened the case on a trip, had a hard time getting it closed, and forced it shut.  (I learned my lesson and after than didn\'t overload the case - kept it lightly loaded.)<br><br>The case is a large Carleton.  <br><br> I also have fenders and a front rack, which are included with the bike.<br><br>I\'m 5\'9\", 170 pounds.  I feel that this bike is probably best sized for someone 5\'6\" to 5\'8\".  It\'s a touch<br>small for me.   Anyone larger would be advised to buy a longer stem, unless they really like to lay low over the handlebars.<br><br>I previously owned a Pocket Rocket, and I can\'t say enough about how the beam functions on an Air Friday. It\'s ability to absorb shock of both small and large sizes is nothing short of amazing. <br><br>I move through various bikes, have a new road bike, have not traveled with this bike for several years now.  It\'s not being used much but is a very solid machine and a good performer, perfect for someone who wants to take it on a plane.';
